Author, Editor, Project Manager

My Book, Dog Joy
Raised Over $6,000 for Local Dog Rescues
In the summer of my high school senior year, I published my first book, Dog Joy, which featured the stories of 26 rescue dogs. Click here to see the website.
Dog Joy allowed me to share my love of animals and is a collection of dog rescue stories as told by the men and women who opened their homes and hearts to dogs in need. Each of their stories is shared to inspire others to choose rescuing or adopting their next dog.
I managed the entire project from helping find 25 dog rescue owners, to helping them share their stories, to managing the entire book publishing process, to book marketing and promotion.
My primary goal was to raise awareness and raise money for dog rescue organizations and within a few short months of the book being published, I helped raise over $6,000 which was donated to the various local dog rescues featured in the book.
My book was also featured in several local newspapers and magazines which you can see here.
